One of the other great announcements yesterday was the coming of the new Nexus tablet. This seven inch bundle of joy is meant to focus on the Google Play store and showcase all of the new features Google brought to Android with JellyBean. With the device manufactured by Asus we knew it would be a powerhouse. The price point is at a stage to be quite competitive with all other tablets in that price range and the specifications blow them out of the water. The price for the 8GB unit is CA $209.99 and the 16GB unit will cost you just $50 more. We know that cloud is the way of storage so who really needs all that space with services such as Google Drive, Music and Photo storage?
